In the Pathfinder Bank $1,500 to win Mr./Ms. SBS feature at the Oswego Speedway it was a seasoned veteran that rose to the occasion as Mark Regan The only man to have competed in every  Mr. SBS event manage to work his way to the front  and drive away to claim  the fifteen hundred dollars and the prestige of wearing the crown as the 2007  Mr. SBS  the second time in his illustrious career.

The race was marred by numerous cautions as many drivers seemed to be a bit impatient. The field was slowed 8 time for accident 5 on the initial start of the race. Finally management decided to start the field single file with Defending champion Star Matteson.

Matteson would soon  relinquish the lead to the second place car of Jason Simmons. As the two worked between turns three and four Simmons managed to get a wheel  under Matteson  take the lead as they came to  the line for the first time.

The track would not be green for very long as the fifth caution of the night came out on lap one. When Kraig Heroth spun the  #46 going into the first turn. Heroth  was sent to the pits for the rest of the evening.

Once again the green flag flies as Simmons brings the field to the attention of  Donny Forbes. Followed by  Pullen, Matteson, Regan and Jack Patrick.

Once again the track was back to yellow as the #52 of David Danzer backed his Small Block Super into the foam between turns three and four. Danzer was able to continue after  going pit side for a little cosmetic alterations on the tail section of his car.

Green flag action would once again be short lived as on lap 4 their was a multi car pile up in turn one. The cars involved where the #04 of Kevin Knopp, #9 Jack Patrick ,#01 Ed Horn,#05 Danny Kapuscinski,#25 Rick Zeigler ,#06 Dave Cliff,#10 Josh La Rochelle Defending Mr. SBS Russ Brown.

Once the 4th lap restart once again the caution flew when  Matteson spun in turn three and was collected by the 93 of JJ Andrews. Matteson thought she had a little help going around thank to the front bumper of Larry Muroski. She pled her case to the track official but to no prevail. Matteson would soon show her disappointment with  Muroski before pitting her #82 for the evening.

Finally it was back to racing with Simmons setting the pace. It wouldn’t take long for the duce of Rob Pullen to get around Simmons for the lead on lap 7.

But that would be short live when on the ensuing lap Mark Regan grabbed the lead away from Pullen.

The battle from this point on  the battle was for second on back as David Gruel and Rob Pullen swapped positions over the  Next few laps.

The next caution flew on lap 20 when Russ Brown and Larry Muroski came together in between turns one and two. The incident sent  Brown to the back of the pack. Defending Champion will now have to work his way back threw the pack.

On  the restart it is once again Regan followed by Pullen and Gruel.

The track would stay green the rest of the way  allowing Regan to build up a little bit of a lead on Pullen, Gruel and Brian Sobus. As they continued to battle from second on back.

Regan managed to hold on for the Victory The first sense he picked up this ride in the whites car care #4 after the untimely death of  Tony  White. I’ve Always wanted to win one for Tony. This one is for Tony. It means a lot to win this is for Wayne and the entire crew. I want to thank my wife for letting me do this just one more year. I have told her that for a few years now. But this is it. Regan said during his post race interview.
